# What PostSprout does

## What can I do with PostSprout?

PostSprout is an AI blog writing and publishing tool for shop owners and marketers. It uses your brand details and topics to research and write articles. It then publishes them to your WordPress, WooCommerce or Shopify site, either after you approve each one or on its own.

## When to use it

Use PostSprout when you want to turn product knowledge and topic ideas into blog articles. You supply your brand details, check the drafts and choose where they publish.

## Set up your workspace

1. Create your account and complete onboarding for your blog.

2. Open **Brand** to check your niche, audience, voice and products.

3. Open **Settings** to check your site connection and publishing options.

## What belongs to a blog?

| Item | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Brand details | Give the writer your niche, audience, voice and seed keywords. |
| Products | Give the writer products it can reference. |
| Ideas | Supply possible subjects for future articles. |
| Articles | Hold drafts and published work. |
| Settings | Choose the publishing destination and pipeline options. |

If you have access to more than one blog, use the blog switcher before changing settings or writing. The **Your Blogs** page lists your accessible blogs. **Add New Blog** opens onboarding for another blog. Your plan sets how many blogs you can have.

## Common problems and fixes

If you cannot find the brand or articles you expect, check the active blog in the switcher. If a connection setting is read-only, ask the blog owner to change it.

The **We write it in your voice** step summarizes your saved niche and audience. Update them on **Brand** when they no longer describe your blog.
